We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, and payment details — when you register, create an event, or purchase a ticket. We also collect information automatically when you use our platform, including device identifiers, IP addresses, browser type, and usage patterns. Event hosts may provide additional information about their guests as part of the guest operations features.

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the BubblyUrban platform; process payments and issue tickets; send transactional and event-related communications; detect and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations. With your consent, we may also send promotional communications about new features or relevant events.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (payment processors, email providers, cloud infrastructure), with event hosts when you RSVP or purchase a ticket for their event, and with legal authorities when required by law. Event hosts are responsible for the information they collect from their guests and must comply with applicable privacy laws.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records are retained for seven years to meet financial and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting privacy@bubblyurban.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data; withdraw consent; and opt out of certain processing activities. EU and UK residents have rights under the GDPR. California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@bubblyurban.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We use first-party cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some platform functionality.

We protect your information using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Sensitive fields such as payment data and contact details are encrypted at the database level using pgcrypto. We conduct regular security assessments and maintain a responsible disclosure program. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

BubblyUrban is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided personal information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of BubblyUrban after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
